New Cycle to Work scheme launched

Express Medicals has officially launched its Cycle to Work scheme, to support its employees to make a change to both their health and to the environment biking to work.

The scheme constitutes a loan to be used for bicycles and cycling-safety equipment to employees. Repayments are made over the lifetime of the loan, interest free, and taken as a salary sacrifice before tax. This means not only do our employees get help making the big purchase, but can also save money overall.

The Cycle to Work scheme was launched in 1999, to allow businesses to support their employees to make their journeys to work healthier for themselves and the planet. In 2019 the previous upper limit of £1000 was lifted, so employees can buy any bike they choose.
